| A basic description
|
This peptide is the fragment of Histone H3 (21-44) with deimination at Arg26, converting it to Cit (citrulline). It is biotinylated through a C-terminal GGK linker. Deimination by peptidyl arginine deiminase 4 (PADI4) blocks methylation by the CARM1 methyltransferase and inhibits transcriptional activation.
